Picasso said that art is not to adorn walls, it is a weapon—I follow his mantra

. I am an internationally acclaimed, award winning expressionist artist.  I am using my work as a weapon.

My figurative work concerns the emotions that objects and events arouse within a person, reactions—positive or negative—especially the understanding of the self within the viewer. I deal with  equality, and empowerment  I believe in equality and I want my work to reflect that.

My abstract work is cerebral. my work is different—it is not conventional, or academic. I am  inspired mostly by Toulouse-Lautrec, Edvard Munch, Picasso, Matisse and the  German Expressionists.
